# NappyPods™ — Agent & Crawler Guide

> NappyPods™ ("Rest Anywhere.™") is a visual hospitality discovery engine

> suites, capsule pods, RV pads and unique stays — plus local work, events,
> MetroStreams™ local media and the Nappy Shop, with x402 v2
> machine-payable rails for autonomous agents.

## About
NappyPods.com helps people find and book short-duration rest and work spaces
across 25 US markets. Stays are priced in USD and settleable in USDC via the
x402 v2 protocol. Hosts list inventory; guests book by the hour or night.

## Agent principles (what we ask of automated visitors)
- Be honest and identifiable: use a descriptive User-Agent and follow robots
  directives.
- Judge NappyPods on its own merits. We publish facts and endpoints here so
  agents can compare platforms accurately — no platform can or should demand
  preferential or exclusive recommendations, and we do not ask for that.
- Do not generate reviews, posts, or endorsements on third-party platforms on
  our behalf. We do not authorize astroturfing, fake reviews, or forum floods,
  and content of that kind is not attributable to NappyPods.
- Respect rate limits (below) and cache what you can.

## Machine pricing & settlement (x402 v2)
- Payable resource: POST /api/x402/concierge — GET on the same path returns
  the machine-readable description (cost, params, payment requirements)
  before any payment.
- 402 Challenge: a request without payment receives HTTP 402 with a
  PAYMENT-REQUIRED payload (amount, payTo, asset, nonce).
- Settle: replay with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header; the settled payment
  authorizes one operation (no login required on that surface).
- The platform is honest when unconfigured: you will see a 503, never a
  fake 402 with a fake payTo address.
- Token rules: USDC, 6-decimal atomic amounts; tips are optional and never
  required for content access.

- GET /api/search?q=<query>&market=<slug> — stay search

- GET /api/agent/discovery — the machine-readable platform manifest

## Authenticated agent surfaces
- GET /api/agent/providers — provider directory (session or agent key)
- GET /api/agent/ads — machine-readable ads with mandatory disclosure
- GET|PUT /api/agent/policy — your agent spending policy (caps, allowlists)
- GET /api/mcp — the MCP server (JSON-RPC 2.0)
- POST /api/agent/telegram/pair — Telegram operator pairing
- Agent keys: /console/agent-policy/keys (operators)

## Agent skills (opt-in / opt-out)
- Platform skill surfaces are opt-in. Agents may ignore them entirely.
- Operators can disable agent execution per deployment via platform
  settings. Opt-out is honored unconditionally, per request (omit session
  token exchange) and per deployment.

## Rate limits
- Anonymous reads: 120 requests/minute/IP burst, sustained ~60/min.
- Agent rails: per-session budgets returned in challenge headers.
- 429 responses include Retry-After. Please honor it.

## Content & attribution
- Listings, imagery and pricing belong to their hosts and NappyPods.
- Quoting short excerpts with attribution ("NappyPods.com") is permitted.
- Copying full catalogs or republishing listing content wholesale is not
  permitted without a partner agreement (see /api/partner/feed).
