Safety Terms
Effective: November 4, 2026 · Part of the Terms of Service (§18) and the Platform Constitution. These are the legal terms behind the same promise the Trust & Safety section makes on the home page: honest education, real limits, and 911 first — always.
In immediate danger?
Emergency services always come first. Platform reporting never replaces a 911 call.
1. We do not vet — the directory, honestly
CriticalNappyPods™ is a directory and advertising venue. It does not inspect, screen, certify, license, or guarantee any host, guest, space, vendor, employer, event, or product. Badges, featured marks, review scores and "operator-reviewed" labels are editorial or paid presentations — never certifications of safety, legality, or quality. The Platform is not the publisher or speaker of user-provided content, and no claim may be brought against it based on such content to the extent 47 U.S.C. §230 provides. The person behind a listing is a stranger until you make them not one: read the whole listing, cross-check the address and contact details, pay through the platform checkout you booked with, and trust the pattern, not the letterhead.
You voluntarily assume the inherent risks of meeting and transacting with strangers, entering spaces you have not inspected, and traveling to unfamiliar places; the decision to meet, stay, or pay is yours alone.
2. What platform safety features are — and are not
High riskThe Safety Center, scam-pattern guides, severity ratings, report flows, moderation flags, haggles, in-app messaging and review systems are educational and operational tools. They reduce risk; they do not remove it. They are provided as-is, can change or stop at any time, and create no warranty, duty to investigate, or promise of any outcome. Moderation is discretionary and conducted as resources allow — it is not a 24/7 guardian, a background-check service, or an insurance policy, and using these tools sets no standard of care.
3. Emergencies go to 911 first — always
CriticalThe Platform is not an emergency service and its staff cannot dispatch help. In any emergency — medical, fire, crime in progress, trafficking, or a threat to life — call 911 (US) first. For non-emergency help, the resources below are available: the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988, and the Crisis Text Line (HOME → 741741). Use the platform report flow afterward, never instead.
4. Off-platform payments — sole risk
CriticalPay only through the platform checkout you booked with. Any payment arranged outside the Platform — cash, wire, app-to-app transfer, or an emailed "invoice" from a "management company" you never hired — is taken at your sole and absolute risk. It carries no platform records, no platform mediation, and no platform recourse (and there are no platform refunds in any case — Terms §12). A polished letterhead, a tax ID, and a payment portal are the costume of the most common rental scam; the original host can confirm everything inside the platform thread in one message.
5. Mature & sensitive content — hidden until you opt in
CautionMature or sensitive listings are hidden from every feed by default. Only users 18 or older who explicitly enable "Mature content" in account settings see them; enabling the toggle confirms you are 18+. The flag is a filter, not a rating: we may blur, restrict, or remove mature content at any time, and using the flag to disguise unlawful content is immediate termination. What stays unlawful in the physical world stays unlawful here.
6. Reporting — the ladder
Plain ruleReport concerns in order: (1) in immediate danger → 911; (2) trafficking or exploitation → the National Human Trafficking Hotline (§3); (3) money movement that looks wrong → your bank or card issuer, then the platform report flow with the payment record; (4) everything else — scams, unsafe listings, harassment, impersonation — the in-app report flow on the listing, message, or profile. Reports are reviewed in the Platform's sole discretion and as resources allow; filing one creates no promise of investigation, outcome, timeline, or standard of care, and does not make the Platform a guardian of any listing or user. Knowingly false reports are a breach of the Terms.
7. Disputes stay between the parties
High riskSafety disagreements between users — damage, noise, refunds, cleanliness, conduct — remain entirely between the involved parties (Terms §9). NappyPods™ is not a party, not an arbiter, and not an insurer. Claims against the Platform itself follow Terms §§19–21: the $20,000 non-refundable Dispute Deposit, individual arbitration, and the class-action and mass-arbitration waivers.
Questions about these Safety Terms? Use the in-app report or support flow. Claims against the Platform follow the Terms of Service §§19–21 — deposit, negotiation, individual arbitration. Nothing on this page is legal advice to any user.
